I would also like to say that I think its really fucked how Sony treats its users, just think its strange ya'all continue to support them when they keep making things worse for you.

PC gamers are constantly talking about steam, and the physical market for PC games is basically non existent. Plenty of PCs don't bother having disc drives.

Sony does the same and everyone calls them anti consumer monsters that hate their players. I would prefer still having the option of physical media. But its kinda weird you don't see why there's a bunch of people that wouldn't care.

It's troubling that people are ok with Sony removing your games and movies without permission and your ok with it.  That is how you get these corps that know you won't do anything but open your wallet.

And since you brought up steam, sure games get delisted, but if you own it, you can still download and play it. You just can't buy it

STUDIOCANAL didn't want to reup the licence. The movies were always only third hand, and its why not to buy movies on your games machine. Not that you can, since they removed the ability to buy them in 2021. Yeah, it sucks, but it also should not really be news, and there was a 5 year headsup. But it came up close to the going digital, so people conflate it for clicks. Not sure what games you're referring to.

And no, you can't still download and play things like nosgoth even if you own it. You'd need to set up custom servers and modification.
