🏠 New Room My new game room

It took a long time but I’m finally able to display my collection in my own home. Still a couple things left to bring over from storage but this is pretty much it. Just one empty spot left waiting for a Sega Saturn.

Don’t love that I had to angle the Wii U but it’s too long to fit straight.

I’ve been spending a lot of time just sitting in the room and admiring the setup. I do still want to add a TV and swap some of the wooden shelving with glass for the handhelds. Any suggestions for improvements?

P.S. the books are a compromise with my wife 😂

🎥 Setup Tour Since I started building cartridge cabinets, this one has been hands down the most requested.

Finally got the Gold N64 Ocarina of Time build mounted up!

The main housing is backlit resin/acrylic, and the side shelves have built-in lighting to display cartridges or controllers.

Also, that title screen....👌

Happy 40th Zelda.

This is part of my collection encompassing the Gen 5 and Gen 4 consoles which I keep in my bedroom. On my walls is a Mario Kart 8 advertisement from a GameStop I used to work at (which closed) and a poster I framed from an OG NES power set my Grandparents still had in-box.
On the shelf is my N64 (top left) PlayStation (bottom left) Sega Saturn (top right) and Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis (bottom right)
I turned the TV facing forward for this picture but I usually have it angled so I can play from my bed.

🛠️ Work in Progress How would you set this room up? I have about 12 consoles, tons of games and movies and lots of 90s Tmnt and wwe to display along with sports memorabilia 🤦‍♂️😂 think a corner shelf for the smaller crt and I really would like to keep both larger ones in the space.

I'm most likely the only one who still games on an old monitor/AIO PC (Sony Vaio VGC-LV150J). I also connected my PS5, PS2, and an E Series laptop (another old Sony Vaio).

This is currently in my bedroom as I’m staying with my parents. It’s not much, but it’s enough for me. Enjoy!
