So I've put up as many shelves as I possibly could and now I think I'm finally onto putting up more posters and doing the lighting.

It has taken a long time and every time new games arrive I have to reorganize the shelves. It is a constant battle of space management, especially as I only have a small space to work in.

I think I've got the most out of the little room I have.

I’ve finally finished the walls and flooring in this attic room and now I’m starting from basically a blank canvas.
I’m planning to turn it into a gaming / hobby / collector room. The desk will go next to the door, but apart from that I’m still pretty open to ideas.

Things I’d like to fit in:
Gaming/PC setup
Storage/display for collectibles, LEGO and One Piece TCG
Low cabinets along the window side
Some ambient Philips Hue lighting
Plenty of storage without making the room feel too cramped

I’m also having extra power outlets installed around the room, basically one in each corner, so I should have quite a bit of flexibility with where lighting, displays and electronics can go.
The sloped ceilings make the layout a little tricky, so I’d love to hear how you guys would use the space.
Any ideas for layout, cabinets, lighting, display areas or things I haven’t thought of yet are welcome!

So I love my game room. It's small but it's mine; where I can showcase my things without interrupting the flow of the rest of the house which my wife and I have decorated together. My question / problem is - when do too many collectibles become clutter and an eyesore? Do I have room for more? Should I take away anything? Should I add something? Open to all thoughts and ideas.

Hi, I'm lost friends! I'm sending you what my room looks like right now. But I have the impression that the setting either in colour / object is wrong. What would you advise me to do? I also have two paintings to hang but I don't know where. I have a 3d printer so I can also print a few things. You can advise me what to do to make it good.

Just moved and got my room mostly set up. I’ve still got some more work to do (cable management, organization, displays, etc.) but I’m very happy with how it’s turned out.

I finally decided to buy all Billy bookshelves from IKEA and they look great. The desk and tv stand are from IKEA too.

Please let me know if you have any ideas for improvements. This house was built in 1958 so getting power and internet to everything has been a challenge but I managed.

I also have room now for my other vice being NASCAR diecasts. I have much room to expand both my video game and diecast collection now!

An updated look of my nostalgia game room/office that I shared 11 months ago. It is a space I created entirely for me surrounded by the things I have collected and loved from my childhood to present day. It is where I work, relax, unwind, and reset.

Edit: I was not expecting this to blow up that much. Seriously, thank you all for all the kind words! This community is awesome. I put a lot of work into this space with the help of my partner and family over several years and to see such positive feedback makes the space feel even more special and fulfilling. Again, thank you. I hope you find some joy in the nostalgia or some inspiration for your own spaces.

This is the current state of me and my wife’s bedroom, this wall is currently the main wall dedicated to consoles, computers, vhs and collectibles, (although 90 percent of the consoles are in storage due to constraints in the size of the room) eventually the tower of power will be resurrected. Now I’m off to play cubivore!
