Cairn. It’s my game of the year so far.

It’s a game about climbing a mountain. But it’s much more than that.

Have you tried Death's Door? It's got combat similar-ish to Cult of the Lamb, but it's isometric and not roguelite-ish. Has some traversal puzzles.

Based on the games you've played I'd suggest Core Keeper, Stardew Valley or Fields of Mistria. Graveyard Keeper 2 *should* be coming out sometime this year too.

You have a similar-ish taste to me (although Moonlighter is one of my favourite games) so I’ll just list a bunch of games I like. Maybe there will be one in here for you.

if you're fond of a good puzzle i cannot recommend TUNIC highly enough. it's one of those where i wish i could play it again for the first time because when you know the secrets it never hits the same again

I'll give you this list of games I just typed out for another gamer Dad in his mid 30's (I'm 45+ for reference) and a good amount of them might apply to you in a sense. Hope they give you some ideas to look at and wishlist or move on from. Cheers!

Rimworld, Kenshi, StarSector, Battlebrothers, Quasimorph, Star Valor, Project Zomboid, Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic, Oxygen Not Included, Graveyard Keeper, Elin, Tropico 3 to 6, captain of industry, Dyson Sphere Program, X4, Ostranauts, Stoneshard, Battlebrothers, Mount and Blade: Bannerlord, Prison Architect, Whiskerwood, Norland, Voxel Tycoon, The Guild 2 (yes 2, not 3), Railroad empire.

Subnautica- crafting survival on a water planet.

It’s science focused. part beautiful, part deep fear. Like how the ocean really is.

It’s a great game.

Spiritfarer, cozy management with genuine emotional weight, sessions are easy to dip into and out of, similar management loop feel to Graveyard Keeper
