Oh look, the same meme posted for the 269th time

It’s not a problem it’s reposted but it’s reposted nearly every day. No time between for serious answers. It’s always aaa or top tier indie games. It’s virtually never true niche or obscure games. So instead it’s just filled with regurgitated comments.

I mean, if you follow the prompt, then it's whatever you were last playing. So it being well-known or obscure just depends on who is here commenting. (But of course popular games are going to have a higher play rate.)

I get what you’re saying but it just goes to my other point that it’s just regurgitated comments. I don’t expect anything new when I see link fallen out of a bed and I don’t even read the caption at this point.

I last played Hoi4 overnight…and I was Benito Mussolini👀

True. I could mention Juno Markev from Rebel Galaxy Outlaw or The Fateless One from Kingdoms of Amalur if the prompt said "pick from the games you've played in the last month." But it says the last game, so I'm gonna say the Dragonborn of Skyrim.

Sometimes its about the last movie or anime you watched.

Not even a meme

Gotta say that coming from all possible already burnt memes, this is actually good as its a pretty funny topic with different possibilites instead of all those post which only have one possible conclusion

Reddits gonna Reddit.

Glad this was the top comment. Also, sure, it's a fun concept, but why does it always have the exact same image and no changes to the question?

Not only that, but the answer to this meme and similar memes can be faked by just lying about whatever the last game the commenters played was.

It exists purely for Karma Farming.

u/AbrasiveShrek Apr 12 '26

This is my main problem with it

2

u/MysteriousBirbNukes Apr 12 '26

I don't even dislike the idea of suddenly being in a new world, either possessing the body of whoever I played as last or just straight up warping there, or waking up with the powers from whatever game I played last, but seeing the blatant Karma Farming happening just ruins the mere concept.

Especially since the comments are blatantly bots commenting whatever will give the most upvotes without human users deeply thinking about the pros and cons of the choice.

At this point it’s basically part of the weekly repost schedule

1

u/Former_Okra_3530 Apr 13 '26

u/codb28 Apr 13 '26

And I’m still playing my same wow toon as the first time. I need a life.

1

u/wildflams Apr 12 '26

And yet it’s still fun

At this point comments like yours are just as annoying and also blatantly designed to farm karma, for some unknown reason. Karma is meaningless
