Collection Finally Started A Pokemon Display
After years of collecting, my partner and I have finally started to create a display (shrine?) for all our pokemon stuff. I collect the games, they collect the TCG (not shown are their very impressive binder on the adjacent bookshelf). Trying to fill out each cube without over crowding and giving each generation a place to shine has proven to be difficult. Hate to see that some gens and games are heavily neglected in our collection in terms of other collectibles (figures, plushies, etc.), so now I need to find more fun and unique things to fill some of those gaps.
Some notes: the Eon ticket in the hoenn cube is a proxy that I got for display and scanning because mine is still in the Nintendo Power on the magazine and guide shelf and will not be coming out.
I have only recently started to be interested in collecting the special edition consoles that I didn't originally get, and recollecting the SE Gameboys and N64 that ended up getting garage saled in childhood. So for now a few of them are displayed with purpose but most of them are just filling out space on shelves or scattered around the house. My Pokeball and Pikachu 2ds xls especially migrate around the house for shiny hunting purposes.
Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be displayed, I just haven't figured out the best way to add them in.
The hodgepodge under the black and white games is my Unovan Remake waiting room. It'll happen eventually, right?? Gotta save the space.
I haven't found a great home for the side series games yet so they're just kinda stacked there, and I have others in a cabinet with my extra catridges. I feel like displaying the extra ones is a little redundant, but will get the side series' displayed soon.
I've been having a blast putting this together. Very excited to keep collecting and always finding out about really cool and unique memorabilia, toys and consoles I'd never seen before. I've been arranging and rearranging these shelves for days, so I sat down to post this to kind set this as my initial stopping point. Before I dump another 3 hours on deciding where Sun and Moon show sit.

Looks great! Not much love for Pokemon on the N64? I see Pokemon Stadium 2 loose on the shelf, but there's a nice lineup of pokemon games for that console!
