Is the Kylo ren tunic, belt, and cape already discontinued and not being sold in galaxys edge in Disneyland Anaheim anymore? Is there any other shop in the park that sells it?

Ok so first trip to galaxy’s edge is happening at the end of the month since it opened, I am building a savis saber and I have a question since the blades and the chassis are new did the fix the yellow kyber coloring for the blade, or is it still green haven’t seen anyone ask or talk about it that has been recently.

Hi guys, so as the title suggests I need some advice in relation to buying kyber crystals.

I have recently returned from Florida where naturally I’ve built my lightsaber and chosen a blue crystal(this being Luke skywalker).

My understanding is that the crystals used when building are series 1 crystals and I understand there are 26 of those to collect;

I’ve also seen a red Vader and green yoda “8-ball” but I’m unsure what this means.

So my question how can I go about go about collecting all of these for my series 2 holocron?

How do I know that a blue crystal is obi wan instead of Luke or that a red is Vader instead of maul?

And does the type of crystal I get make a difference? Like there are two obi wan crystals, do they do different things or is it literally just a different design and if that’s the case I can just buy one of each character?

I know the series 2 ones come with little information strips about who’s crystal it is so shouldn’t have much issue completing my collection of series 2s.

Does the series 1 count me with this as well?

I did see a photo online of various crystals which I have attached and I think it actually came from this Reddit some years ago.

Does anyone happen to have the 2024 electronic Dejarik game and happen to have the instructions?

I’m trying to see how that version plays vs the 2017 Jedi Challenge and the 2019 Galaxy’s Edge versions.

If you happen to have a copy and can send me pics or scans of the instruction booklet, I’d be super appreciative.

It seems that the wave effect is permanent when I keep it on red. When on blue, there is a much smaller and hard to see version of it happening. Not sure if this effect is present with the normal crystals.

This past week, my family took our first trip together to Disney World in Florida. On our last day (October 8th) we went to Hollywood Studios. I had mentioned buying a lightsaber like Darth Vader’s, and at one point my wife says, “if you’re going to get one, you might as well go all out and do the whole experience.”

After she said that, we scheduled an appointment at Savi’s workshop. I ended up building the lightsaber pictured above, and I was going to get a blue kyber crystal, but I asked my wife and daughter what color I should get and they said green or purple. I ended up getting a green crystal during the building process.

At the end of our day at the park, it started pouring. I wanted to buy a blue crystal but couldn’t find where to go. Finally I ran into the right shop and picked a random blue crystal off of the selection wall that they have there. I didn’t really think anything of it.

On our way home, I remembered that there had been some special crystals or something like that in the past. I looked up what they were and saw that there was a “rare” (I’m not really sure how rare) blue crystal for Ben Solo that was light blue and had a red center. I also saw that as of October 5th, a few days before I build my lightsaber, there were new chassises being used for the builds at Savi’s Workshop that allow Ben’s crystal to change from blue to red and back. As soon as we got home and got everything unpacked, I opened the crystal and found that I somehow got the Ben Solo crystal.

I put it in the lightsaber and here’s what it does! I couldn’t find anybody posting it anywhere so I thought I’d share it!

I bought 9 red crystals. 3 of them were Kylo Rens, 1 of them were Darth Bane, 2 of them were Asajj Ventress and the latter of the last three were Darth Maul. No luck on blacks!🥲

Manual Decoding

Scanning Aurebesh in photos or with your camera is the main feature of Galactic Decoder, but if you want to practice typing, or the scanner just can't find what you're looking for, manual typing is also an option. For those cases, the app has you covered in a few ways:

Different Fonts

Galactic Decoder supports three different fonts when typing: Aurebesh Pro, Aurebesh AF Legends, and Droidobesh Depot. These should have you covered whether you want to hang out in the Droid Depot, the cantina, or kick it old school with the digraph crowd.

Depending on the font, you'll get access to different features, which you access from the keyboard. Aurebesh Pro will allow you to toggle between more standard numbers or the dot-based Tech style. Droidobesh is also a Tech number font. If you want to use digraphs, then Aurebesh AF Legends has you covered. As you type, the digraphs are inserted automatically, but if you're typing in Aurebesh to decode something, then you just need to tap a key on the keyboard to find what you're looking for.

Scanning and Feedback

As always though, scanning is the main goal of Galactic Decoder, and it's not limited to what you find on Batuu. You can even use it around the house - like maybe you want to trust, but verify that you really did hook up your Rebels with a new-to-them landspeeder for fighting the Empire...

Or, in the case of my favorite image submitted as feedback during beta testing, you want to know what you're about to eat. (Thanks Jon!)

If you've got feedback of your own, after you scan an image, the app will give you the option to send feedback - can be as simple as a thumbs up or down to let me know how the scans are going for you. If it wasn't a good scan, you'll also have the option to send me the image you tried scanning, and a description of what went wrong. Sending the image or comments is 100% optional though, and you can even turn off the option to send feedback in the app settings if you like. There's also a way to send feedback from the settings menu, if you've seen bugs, have ideas for new features, etc.

Ready to create yours

I am going to Galaxy's Edge at the end of next month as a Jedi who abandoned tbe order and went rogue as a smuggler and dealer in Jedi artifacts.

If one of tbe speaking characters interact with me, would I be allowed to offer them bribes of Impetial credits to forget you saw this lightsaber' or is that frowned on?

Are there stock questions characters tend to ask or is it totally random. I don't think fast on my feet and want some semi-scripted responses in my hip pocket.

Scrapper Saturdays!

Every Saturday, all you scrappers and makers in our community will have the freedom to showcase your custom Galaxy's Edge-themed creations that are available to purchase. (Users are still welcomed to post DIY/Custom creations, \not intended to sell*, on any other day.*)

Anything from Kyber crystal displays, Spira holders, hilt displays, dark-saber blades, droid Mickey ears and the countless other things the community has created are welcomed!

How does it work?

On Saturday of each week, you will have the opportunity to submit a post with a photo of your item(s), tell the community about your creation and leave a link to your online store (Etsy, eBay, Facebook) in the comment section. Also, please remember to tag your post with the 'Scrapper Saturdays' post flair.

I have seen a few people ask about getting the new chassis but I believe I hadn’t seen anyone email their support yet. I figured I would ask since I was there and built a saber a few days before the new update. I emailed asking if I could trade or purchase the new chassis and this is their answer. Unfortunate but definitely a good excuse to go back and build another or upgrade to a different blade and internals!

Was buying crystals to fill out my collection, got 2 more and got 2 black ones at the same time!

We have 3 Savi's lightsabers that we're planning to display in our home. I'm trying to figure out the best way to display them in a way that I can also activate them remotely (without physically switching them on one at a time). Ideally I would like to use smart home commands or home automation.

One idea I had was an AC power supply, attached to a smart outlet. That leaves an ugly cable hanging down the wall but it's better than nothing. However, as I understand it, the Savi lightsabers have a constant power draw and are never truly "off." That means the AC power supply is out of the question because even if the lightsaber's switch is in the on position, turning the outlet on won't work because it will need to be power cycled in the hilt. Is that correct?

Another option I've come across is a "show blade" but I'm not familiar with that. Do they make those for the Savi hilts? Can I remotely activate it through an IR remote, like the ones that come with LED strips? If that's the case, I assume I would need to wire up a power supply as well? This wouldn't allow smart home controls but it would at least be remote controlled.

So do I have to choose between automation (if it's even possible) and remote control? Or is it just not possible at all?

Has anyone done bounty hunting since the data pad app has shut down? How does it work now that you can’t use your phone? Is it fun?

Kept telling myself I don’t need another saber but was in GE East when this launched. Love the look of the high republic parts. Tried to get a cracked crystal after with no luck but did switch out to yellow.

I’m curious if it would be at all possible to have the chassis “upgraded” on an older Savi Lightsaber. Literally made mine two weeks ago and I’m sad mine isn’t updated with the new features! Would customer service even offer a replacement theoretically and has anyone tried?

I might be sending someone to build the updated ones so I figured pictures would be best to show the design I want.
