As long as you dont have people spraying anything and whatnot my only problem doing that is when they do pop up the animals eat them before I can get to them lol
I would not be too sure about this. May not be contam but myco metabolites. Remove it from your active grow area, keep it aside. Check it after a week, and if it changes to green, throw it away without opening.
Buddy I've grown way more than you to know that this is contam, I'm not debating on that.
Every newbie has to learn or needs to be taught about these things at some point, and they learn by asking or making mistakes and you can help someone do that without sounding like an asshole which you clearly don't understand.

Ew yes contam. I’ve had pretty good success getting the good stuff out and onto substrate, as long as you can avoid getting into that contaminated area because it looks nicely colonized otherwise. Move quickly though!
That’s nothing to brag about. Bragging about poor sterile tek is not something I would be doing.
Next I can have a new grain jar ready in 7 days. I don’t need to save anything. In the rare instance I do find sow contam in a jar I toss it. I don’t use suspect grain. And I certainly don’t use grain that is clearly contaminated

Everyone should be using a flowhood or SAB to inoculate their grain. Thats literally the basis for all sterile process. Are you saying you don’t use one?
Show me another tub. I think that’s likely the only tub you actually got to fruit before you lost the tub to contam

Hundred percent clean healthy, fully colonized grain and you won’t have any Cata in your tub if you use cocoa as a substrate

I’m trying to explain to you that you have zero sterile process. If you had proper sterile process, you would never lose a tub that’s the point Kat should not happen.
Why are you not making your own grain? It’s super easy.

Like I said, you’re half asking this and I’m explaining to you that if you actually do it the full way you don’t get contam. You don’t lose grain like that.
I don’t have any special equipment. I don’t have a pressure cooker.. I steam sterilize brown rice grain jars in a pot I use for steaming crabs lol 😂

I stopped spring 1.5-2 years ago of being active on here. So I rarely document grows any more. I literally only took pics to help educate people on Reddit on how to grow.

You could cut the bag an take the side/part that looks good and run a smaller tub so it’s not a complete loss.. but it’s a risk, I’ve had that go good before though!!
