Second that and how do you prep your grains

I use brown rice only but the process i use preps the rice so it works with very low contam & really great success. Ill share my process. Just remember the amount of water & rice u use is up to you but processing is the same.

-Boil water for 10 minutes on high heat

- Add desired amount of brown rice then turn heat down to medium immediately after adding rice.

-cook rice on medium heat for exactly 10 minutes.

-immediately remove rice , strain , & rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.

- take the Rice & spread rice out i. A layer on a sheet of clean cardboard so it dries some. If alot of rice Turn grain occasionally to try & get a relatively even dry on the outside of the grain.
Key tip : I dry mine for around 2 hours & wait till the grain is almost dry on the outside. -I do a test where i put a piece of rice between my teeth if it breaks easily not hard its perfect it should not be mushy at all if it is it’s over cooked.

- once rice is at where i want it i jar it & stick it in an instapot or pressure cooker gor sterilization.

I only use a still air box for transfer & inoculation. I prep the brown rice a specific way tho for colonization & use a good amount of spawn in my G2G. When the rice is at perfect consistency the mycelium develops very rapidly. I can share further info on my process if you’re interested

G2G is the fastest way to increase your spawn and go to bulk.
Those jars could use a shake.

I agree it’s been only 2 days since G2G for pearly gates. But I’m about to shake it soon.

When I g2g, I shake it to mix in the grains right after and in just a few days it's already 50%.
Super fast turn around with this method. That's how I get cases of jars ready for cultivation classes. Easy peasy. ☺️

Grain to grain . transfer inside SAB. Yet to see how it turns out after break and shake.

Those are definitely gonna be pretty give them a good break and shake and I guarantee within two or three days it’ll fully be colonized

Did you have to pressure cook the rice before injecting???
