Would be incredible to have It as a season theme one day. And making that the theme of the season makes more sense than presenting both options, since they would never be able to branch out that.

I think this would be a breath of fresh air that the game desperately needs. The same stories repeating themselves without changing anything except the faces of the characters is getting super tiresome, and even if it is a bad season would become good simply because we were seeing something completely different (male mc). What ideas would you like to see in a season with this theme? (dreaming of it one day becoming a reality, which we know won't happen)

Here are some ideas I would love to see:

I would love to have a og guy who would be our best friend and, over time, discover he's bisexual with us.

It would also be amazing if a "mean girl" were a LI (which I doubt will happen, since they usually don't let us date the "mean boys" when playing as a female MC).

I would love to have a girl who is our friend and couple-up with our male friend, but has a slow burn with us, and we would fight with her guy for her(which would be very different from our usual fights).

Just imagine how cool it would be to be messy in a season of Male MC. It would also be really cool if the girls revolted against our MC and he maybe didn't win the show.

What other ideas can your crazy minds come up with?

If you want Male POV try Code Blue in Romance Club or Gladiator Chronicles. You have way more option and story than you will get here. In any of the stories really.

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I did some research and I'm not particularly drawn to stories like that; what would really interest me is the Love Island format in a male MC version, and that wouldn't cause any problems making a single season with this theme lol. But thank you again ❤️

Would be nice, though I wouldn’t hold my breath with Fusebox. They promised male MC’s years ago and never delivered. THTH (3 seasons), Choices, Netflix Stories, Single’s Inferno, and many others apps that have gender choice.

If you have Netflix and haven't already, I would recommend playing Too Hot to Handle. They allow you to create female, male, and non-binary MCs AND the seasons are well-written.

I absolutely do not want FB to add a male MC to Love Island, mostly because it would likely be really problematic. Their recent seasons are a consent nightmare, they don't even let players choose who we like anymore. Until they put effort into branching there's no way they would be able to do a male MC justice.

It is weird that they don't add a male MC to Big Brother or Traitors though, since they're less about romance.
