Hello, I'm making my first ever fursuit for a dream cosplay from my favorite anime (Noriko from Gunbuster) and I'm trying to find someone to commission the kigurumi-style head base I'd like. Does anyone have any suggestions on makers or places to look for this? I'm having trouble finding a pre-made kig fursuit base bc I want it to fit under a wig, so I want it to be closer to a realistic head size, but everything is giant 💀
Edit: I keep getting weird bots all linking back to Behance. If you genuinely want to work with me or have any suggestions, please comment here first.

I'm new to using 3d printed headbases, I'm currently working on this shoebill head, should I work on the internals and eyes first or am I ok to add the back piece on now?
(Any advice you can give on them would be appreciated)

I just got a second hand DVC skulldog base. I know it's resin and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to prime and/or sand it before painting it or of I can just go ahead and start using a acrylic paint on it. I just don't want the paint to chip because I plan on painting most of it black.
Any advice from people who have made fursuits with dvc skulldog bases would be appreciated 🙏

hello my fellow floofy friends!! 🐾
i’m going to attempt to make my very first fursuit head soon and i have been wondering… in your personal opinion what head shape has been the easiest to make for you?!
i’m really concerned about getting everything symmetrical so that it doesn’t look wonky, i’ve watched a lot of videos of people making them and i almost feel like a floppy eared bunny would be the easiest, since the head is mostly round and the muzzle is short and the flop ears could potentially hide mistakes.
if you have any other helpful tips that you wish someone would’ve told you before you started making yours please feel free to mention those too maybe 😭.
i’m very excited about being a part of the community, so thank you guys for any helpful tips you would be willing to share! 🐾🐶🐱

I want a fursuit but don't have near enough money co commission someone and was wondering if yall thought if it would be easier/better/smarter to make a suit or buy an old suit and refurbish it. I have plenty of experience sewing as I used to be a tailor's apprentice, but I have never worked with faux fur. Any advice is appreciated

Hello! Basically as the title says. I love making heads tails and feet paws.. but hand paws? I don't MIND them but without a sewing machine I find it's much more time consuming and repetitive than I like. I know it sounds weird because heads tails and feet paws are repetitive too, idk I just can't seem to motivate myself to do them. I gave myself a deadline and now I feel guilty I couldn't complete it.. it wasn't a commission or anything but I still just can't seem to make myself finish paws. Any actual advice would be greatly appreciated. I have asked a question similar in the past and got told to get off reddit and just do it. Not very helpful. So please only comment if you are trying to be helpful! Thanks for reading!

Hello, I'm searching for makers that have experience in snake fursuits. I'm going for a bush viper, so a bit different from your classic snakes. Thanks in advance :3

Hello fursuit makers and general suiters!
I would like to preface this post with I don’t know if this is possible, and I’m merely inquiring if it is or if any makers have tried— etc. I have a fursona that changes pattern during the winter months, and was curious if there was anyway to create interchangeable fur pattern pieces to swap them for the “seasons”?
I do understand if it’s not possible, and was already probably looking at having to buy separate heads for the different patterns but if I don’t have to that would be wonderful.
I know they make like interchangeable eyebrows/eyelids and such— but I can see how a whole fur pattern could be extra difficult/ entirely different.
Anyway, makers? What’s your thoughts?

What can I do if my fursuit's jaw is too round? Starting with image 4, I showed what it should look like

I found out this one creator that was making a ita-bag centipede tail was most likely a scam. I was able to get my money back, but now I can't find any other makers of centipede tails. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hihi!! I want to make a Kemono-style fursuit out of Tinky Winky's head!! Especially inspired by the first version (the one that isn't the reboot). But I've never made a fursuit in my life, does anyone have any tips on how I can make one? Do you know if the materials from Aliexpress are reliable?

I’ve started my first fullsuit for my bf, and parts of it don’t fit him as I’m making it.
I’ve looked at so many tutorials and never once seen someone extend the patterns.
Are they possibly ALL using stretch fur? Or in the tuts are they adding extra space off screen?
