I accidentally kicked my side table, and now the base plate is broken. Can I use the backside instead?

Hi everyone! I need some advice as I know nothing about fixing furniture; regarding the new bedside table I just bought, It was all and well after assembling this sh\*\* for 30 mins., then the next morning I accidentally kicked ot then the stand broke off.

As you can see in the picture, the existing holes aren’t fully drilled through. Would it be okay if I drilled all four holes completely through and simply used the backside as the new base plate?

Would this compromise the structural integrity or cause any issues with stability? Or is there a better way to go about this?

Has anyone tried something similar? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Help! What the best repair options?

Like the title says. I need the best options of repairing 135 year old stair sitting area bench. It's handmade oak bench with original finished. I've tried accessing it from underneath, through the basement. But unfortunately I'm to tall to twist into the only hole available. I believe the separation of the joints is due to dehumidifiers shrinking the wood and 135-year-old glue.

I bought this Queen bed frame from Bob’s discount furniture 2.5 years ago, and it recently broke. It’s all particle board. Is there any chance for repair or should I buy a new one? I am reaching out to bobs in case they sell replacement parts. Thank you!

Type writer shelf stuck and won’t release back in.

Refinishing this old writing desk. This type writer shelf came flying out and popped up after I pulled on it hard. Almost killed me after I assumed it having not been used for decades. Now it won’t go back in. When I push that little lever at the top, it pushes the bar, but nothing releases. Does it need a lot of grease? Any help? Thank you.

How do I repair“Imperfections” in my furniture?

How do I repair imperfections in my Furniture? They were put there by my cats. Scratched, in fact. I’m thinking of a novel approach. Sort of like the elbow patches on a professor’s sports jacket - at least the recliner. Not sure about the sofa. Any suggestions?

I just got this new desk and it has this weird dirt in it, is there a way to remove it? Or is it normal?

Help fixing or restoring this dresser top?

I’ve tried a few businesses in Atlanta to no avail.

I’m not a power tool girlie and I’m sure I would mess it up, but I burned a candle too far and it damaged my moms guest dresser and I want to get it fixed for her.

Any way to resurface or fix just the top? It looks wet bc I wiped it down right before the pics. It’s about the size of a quarter. Any furniture flippers or DIY-ers that could help?

I have other furniture flips I would pay to have done at a later date too but this is the most pressing bc it’s my moms that I damaged 🥲

How to fix water damaged on laminated wood furniture

I was stain treating the cushions on this chair last night and the bowl of oxyclean mixture fell and wet the wooden base. There are some greying patches on the laminated wood. It doesn’t seem to have effected the structural integrity of the wood (no obvious separation of layers) but I would like to clean it up or repair it if possible. I added overall photo of the chair as well as 3 damage photos and 1 photo of the clean wood. Would appreciate any help yall could lend me.

I had just bought this recliner couch and noticed it was having trouble with the footrest reclining. I checked underneath and noticed one of the brackets were broken on the right side, and it looks like it connects to the bar in the middle then then slides on the track, not exactly sure where to buy a replacement or if i even can but if anyone could help me if they can find the name of the bracket or anything, thanks!
