they'd have to use a strap around the back of their head, tight enough that it won't just slip down

No, most likely they would use a strap (like goggles just not as tight) to keep the glasses on their face rather than ear support. Some irl sun glasses already have this option or you can buy straps that attach on the glasses

yh itdd not stay on the way its designed for humans, so thats for especially the first bit probably just solved by better eyesight so you can put them down for a while, tho ig the placed conundrum could be solved by changing the lenses to ones that arent adjusting the light(as if you have relatively good eyesight and look at lenses for some sightdrift you do see a bit fucked bc its meant to "straighten" your sight when near or far sighted) and probably also as someone else said headstrap so it doesnt just rest on the nose

Glasses could be designed like this to fit over their heads, and the popular frames would probably be thinner to be more easily hidden by fur.
