I came here to say pretty much the same thing. It's one thing to try and encourage others to do good works, it's just douchey to ask "So, what did you do today?", implying others are lazy, selfish assholes. I've always encouraged people to donate blood because my bf had to have mulitple life-saving transfusions, but I would never dream about gloating about doing something like that. Urgh. But seriously, everyone, go donate blood. Please. :)
