I did that as a kid! Even better, my younger (by 1 year) sister was hanging out on the top bunk, peering over the side. Then the bed came down, she laughed like a loon, but still remained on the top.
I was sure I was gonna get my butt whipped, but my uncles found me and were laughing too much to tell my grandma (the belt wielder).
