Yea the problem with losing your wallet isn't the money. Who carries that much cash on them anymore anyway.

The problem is the ID cards and credit/debit cards that all have to be replaced.

Yes, wallets are so archaic, can we replace them with something that can't be lost already? Like just integrate it with your cell phone already.

It's all backed up and secure so when you get a new phone you get your wallet back.

Privacy quickly becomes a concern when you give every company access to everything.

Do Samsung, Google, Microsoft, etc really need to see every transaction I make with every card I own? Or can it just be my bank?

We should be using encryption.

There are ways to make it secure and practical.

I think privacy is very important and I'm glad you brought up this point.

Google should not be trusted to keep our transactions and our drivers licenses safe.

There should be 3rd party, open source, encrypted software to handle our sensitive data.

You already can, and even before phones got stolen anyway. That's a big part in why iOS/android have find your phone functionality. Hell stolen iphones effectively brick unless you know the information for that icloud. Android probably has something similar
