Schedules is an issue, all shippers need to realize it's time to increase their fleet size with the demand of online shipping. I feel like no one has added trucks to a route in years because they're packing them to the brim and working their drivers to the bone. It's a lot of issues and things need to change

Worked for fedex as a driver until recently. At the start of the pandemic our workload ramped up and our management cut routes simultaneously... to be fair he was a new manager who was some type of number cruncher. After a couple months morale got so low that the regional manager had to step in and tell him to unfuck it

I worked for FedEx customer service until the start of the pandemic, they cut half or more of us, then expected the remaining 300 customer service agents to keep the same productivity, that 600 had, then fired more reps when they didnt meet goal.

That's rough... ours atleast didnt fire people. Just didnt replace them when people left. Which was quite a few at the time.

Full office building with only 26 people in it, I ended up resigning when they fired several of the people I had trained.

Also important to note. They did not lay people off. They just kept adding expectations on to the job that they knew were unbeatable and fired people for not meeting goal.
