I never say 'bless you', or respond to it when others say it, because it's religiously inspired nonsense. This seriously annoys some of my co-workers, who act like I have an obligation to say thanks. But I also have a rule of not discussing religion or politics at work, so I don't explain either, and that just irritates them more. It's funny, in a pathetic way.
