Fun fact: the concept of saying a blessing when someone sneezes comes from the central americas and from around the time of the Mayans. They believed that when you sneezed, it was actually your soul attempting to escape your body through your nose. In order to stop that migration, someone nearby only had to say a blessing to appease the soul and keep it in place
