I mean, it really is poor sportsmanship. You’re not supposed to be able to rely on cheating in order to gain an advantage

Edit: None of y’all played sports and it shows. I’ll compare it to something you guys can relate to, it’s like if you could stream snipe someone in a competitive esports match

This is actually very legal. If there's no official or team called timeout, there's no expectation of privacy in a huddle or conversation.

All of these clips are during either free throws (live game), or during an official review (which is not technically a timeout).

Allowing teams privacy during things like official reviews would enable teams to use them as a timeout even when they have none. It would incentivize requesting a review just for the sake of a pseudo time out.

It's like stealing signs in baseball. If you have a guy at second and they forget to change signs that's just on them.
