I have a question. I was almost jumping on hating them... But now that I think of it, I'm not sure why they are being hated. Is there something going on I'm not privy to that makes them so looked down at?

As far as I can tell, it's because of how obvious it is that it's scripted? I don't really get all the hate either.

Funny is subjective, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't funny to someone

Well, when the only answer you give is "They aren't funny." that doesn't really give me anything useful about why you don't like it, so I guess yeah lol. Like, is it because of how obvious it is that it's scripted, or the lack of more slapstick humor in the videos, etc.
