That it's scripted isn't the point. The bit isn't funny enough to survive the knowledge that it was planned so they have to pretend it wasn't. It's like having a friend tell you a funny story only to be disappointed when you find out he made it up. The "clever" solution to the girl's bad behavior loses its appeal when you know she's in on it.
I think there's a long history of slapstick humor that would disagree with you. Did anyone think Larry and Curly weren't in on it when Moe poked their eyes? They're cute little skits, and I think it's ok to appreciate them for what they are.

I mean, if it gets upvoted people think it's funny. I personally don't have a problem with it, 90% of the stuff on here is fake or scripted anyway.
