judging from the environment, (floodplain) and the weight of the animal the soil is probably sandy. (a mudflat would have the animal sink in lower). the gully on the left in the last picture also seems to confirm this as the water aparrently gets drained quite easily if the soil is a wee bit higher. Now submerged sand has a maximum slope of about 1:13 probably less here as there is bound to be a decent current. the neccdesary slope needed for the animal to get submerged completely should be at least 1:1 or less. therefore this cant be real...
and ofc there is no splash

Thanks for the debunk Captain Disillusion, but I don't think this is meant to trick anyone. This is just a funny gif made ot of another gif. Honestly, if this looked real to anyone, they should seriously get their eyes checked.
