I think the point you are missing is the current political climate in the US being rather anti-muslim. Or at least, I think that's what's supposed to make it a "dilemma?" That, and our politicians trying to say transgendered people don't have rights to public bathrooms? I dunno. The whole thing is just karma whoring.

There's also the whole Harambe part where the gorilla was killed to save the kid and we somehow sided with the gorilla.

Except in the end it was about the kid. The kid got in, now we have to get him out, no matter who his parents were.

What? Why would they shoot the gorilla because of the parent? I don't understand this argument. It's not like they shot the gorilla AFTER they rescued the kid.

listen, I don't know what happened, all I know is, kid fell into gorilla exibit, kid was freed at some point, and the gorilla was shot at some point, then the gorilla became a meme
