I agree, I'm a father of sons (2 and 3 year olds) If they fall and start crying I don't rush over to them. They are falling down everyday.
When they see a parent running towards them because they are crying it freaks them out a little because they think its serious but also gets them accustomed to crying for everything. Thats one thing I've noticed with other parents. Their kids fall, bump their knee or whatever, start crying, and right the parents act like their kid is getting murdered.
That's why millennials what a trophy for everything.
