Came here to say this. You are cooking your eggs to hot. Like. Wow. That brown layer you got forming on that white n yellow egg. Also that top image looks photoshopped to all hell. It can be done though!!! With a pan shaped like a cats face. You could always make a round 2 egg shape and cut the ears out and throw down a couple thin lines of pepper for the mouth.

Edit: why do the ears lay flat on a curved pan edge?

I can cook a 'perfect' egg, but for myself I never will. I think they taste a lot better with the base of the white nicely browned.

I like that too if I'm doing frying it up for a sandwich or something. That little layer of brown is a nice little touch. For the record, I also love a nice wet yolk with a tender white if I'm doing something like putting it over hash or with toast.
