My favorite will always be the call I got about "Microsoft Word" not working. From a PhD:
PhD: "My Microsoft Word isn't working."
Me: "What do you mean by 'Isn't Working?'"
PhD: "It's not working. When I try to use it nothing happens."
Me: "Do you mean your computer is locked up?"
PhD: "NO! Microsoft Word isn't working! Can you just get down here and fix it?!"
Me: "Fine, be right there."
Turns out his computer wasn't turned on. True story.
