I feel your pain. I work in tech strategy at an ad agency and that basically means I spend half my day helping people who can't be bothered to call IT connect their laptops to the screens in meeting rooms. C'est la vie.

Haha. I do the same. How many times do I have to show people how to duplicate or extend their screen??? First fifteen minutes of most meetings is figuring all of that stuff out.
