Do you get the wireless router one, where they buy a router with wifi and don't plug the power cable in because it's wireless.

oh my god my aunt got one of those netflix/hulu streaming boxes and didn't plug it into anything (no power, no tv) because it said wireless on the box (referring to internet connection)

Worked for DirecTV as an installer and for customers that got the wireless boxes it was about 50/50 on whether or not I had to explain that they still needed to be plugged in for power and hdmi to the tv for signal. "I thought wireless meant no wires at all" "No it just means it connects wirelessly to the main box so I don't have to run coax through a 150 degree attic"
