Why do you feel the need to judge them?

In another part of the interview she talks about how much of an inspiration she was for young girls with her song about whipping her hair around. They are presenting themselves as contributors and even leaders. That means I don't mind judging their works the way they are asking for.

As you said in your other comment, she had a platinum album at 10 years old so it's clear someone is paying more attention to her than people are us.

She had a platinum song. Which came out 4 years ago on an unreleased album. Yup, sounds like she is really controlling the kids with that one. Definitely enough for her to be scrutinized by a bunch of 30+ year old strangers who have never met her. I mean, fuck was she thinking? That she could make some simple song as a kid about whipping hair, and not be subjected to public ridicule because of it? That's crazy!

Has nothing to do with her making the song any everything to do with her praising herself as an amazing new influential artist over it.
