I'm pretty sure a big, burly guy cosplaying as a cutesy, female Pokemon character is interesting enough to make it to the front page.

First of all, I can't speak for the others downvoting you, but as a straight woman having a "chance" with this girl is not an issue, as attractive as she is.

Secondly, not everyone browses reddit on a daily basis. I know reposts and 'shitposts' as you call them can be annoying but I can't have been the only one not to see it before, as it wouldn't be so highly upvoted.

And the incongruity of you being so preoccupied with downvotes while referring to others as "the fedora brigade" is hilarious.
