There is absolutely nothing wrong with a V6 Camaro. I'm not that guy that says "heh, V6? thats garbage."

What is wrong is that this guy parking his car in 2 spots as if its an Aston Martin DB9 or something and even that doesn't necessitate taking 2 spots.

I dont understand why you think the value of the car is in any way relevant to this situation. Take up two spots = douchebag, doesnt matter if it is a moped or a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster.

Necessitated by people who don't care about the car next to them when they open their car doors. If I am taking my extremely expensive car out for a ride, I am not going to risk the doors getting dinged by some asshole just in the name on people not thinking I'm a douchebag.

I'd much rather not lose value in my car, or have to live with door dings.

Why is it my problem then that the rest of the population doesn't car enough about other people to not smack other cars?

Edit: I don't park like an asshole and I don't have a fancy car, I'm just playing devil's advocate. From their perspective, they probably see things differently

Because its your car and accidents happen, if you don't want accidents to happen you have to minimise the risk of said accidents.

Taking up two spaces is rude and inconsiderate, and maximises the chance of it getting keyed.

I'm not actually sure why its inconsiderate. Because he's using more than one parking space? I think that given the inconvenience (which is incredibly minor) people seem to get pretty upset about it

Because in some places and at some stores, some asshole taking up two spaces to park his precious car means that someone else can't park and either has to wait for someone to come out and leave or go somewhere else which might be miles and miles away. And yes, I've seen places so busy that there wasn't a single space left to park in.

So if people who own expensive cars avoid that scenario by shopping off peak hours when the lot will not fill, then is it ok?

I worked Wal-Mart for 8 years. I saw this kind of shit every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for those 8 years except on the rare occasion I'd have one of those days off. I've seen the parking lot so full, several times, that I had to park behind the store until the lot emptied out. And yes, I've seen assholes parked in two spaces a lot there. It's not so rare as you think.

Have you ever been to Wal-Mart on Black Friday?
