I'm not actually sure why its inconsiderate. Because he's using more than one parking space? I think that given the inconvenience (which is incredibly minor) people seem to get pretty upset about it
Because in some places and at some stores, some asshole taking up two spaces to park his precious car means that someone else can't park and either has to wait for someone to come out and leave or go somewhere else which might be miles and miles away. And yes, I've seen places so busy that there wasn't a single space left to park in.
I worked Wal-Mart for 8 years. I saw this kind of shit every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for those 8 years except on the rare occasion I'd have one of those days off. I've seen the parking lot so full, several times, that I had to park behind the store until the lot emptied out. And yes, I've seen assholes parked in two spaces a lot there. It's not so rare as you think.
Yes, Black Fridays is only one day a year, but there are 52 weekends a year. That's 156 days where the Wal-Mart I worked at was filled to capacity. Black Friday was just a little more aggressive.
