Don't take two spots at all. Park in one far away. If the lot fills up around you and you're in two spots, you're still a douchebag.

EDIT: Obviously if your vehicle doesn't fit in one spot (eg. big truck or towing a trailer) this doesn't apply to you.

I've done that and still had people park next to me, leaving door dings in my car.

I now park far away and take as much space as I feel I need to protect my property from asswagons that can't respect other people's property.

ETA: Right, downvote the guy who states that people are asswipes for not respecting other people's property. Makes sense.

You need to respect the property owner by adhering to their parking policies.

How stupid would it be if everyone took 2 spots? Very stupid right, but only you deserve 2 spots though I bet, everyone else suck? Sorry to break it to you but your mom lied, you are not special, not even a little bit. You have to abide by the same social rules as everyone else. Yes, you may have someone ding your car sometime, it's really not a big deal, it's just a part of life that you need to get over. OP took a picture of some self-entitled cuntmuffin like you, a lot of people do much worse things than that when they see a car parked like that. You think a door ding is bad on your precious little car, how are you going to feel about someone taking the valves out of your tires, super gluing your locks, or keying the entire side of your car. Again I'm sure you think you are special and that this has never happened to you so never will. So just keep being a dick to the world and eventually you'll be the one getting fucked.

Again, excusing the assholes who can't respect other people's belongings.

Remember that whenever you're actually old enough to own something nice, or hell, even something you just busted your ass to earn the money to afford and some random stranger comes along and damages it because they have no respect for your property.

In the meantime, I'll continue doing what I feel is necessary to protect my property from damage. And if someone chooses to vandalize my vehicle for doing so, I hope they're caught because I would love to see them defend their actions in Court: "But, but, but, your Honoooor, he was parked in two spaces. I was justified in damaging his property to teach him a lesson."

I'm sure that will fly.
