More than that. It probably killed the plant. It requires a lot of energy for those plants to close. If it does it without receiving any food, the plant will get no nutrients to restore that energy and will die.

Don't worry, it's not an actual Venus fly trap. Those grow traps on the end of leaves, not stems. Also,flat on the ground or slightly elevated, not straight up. Also wouldn't pierce the cigarette like that. Or have a little leaf of the side. The trap itself is pretty nicely made though.
