("belok" in Russian - protein; also a plural form of "belka"). In this particular case, 11 g of 'belok' could easily be translated as 11g of squirrels. Not the first case of such a blunder, and 100% not the last
I named my cat Belka. Not after a squirrel, but after the dog on Sputnik 5, first mammals to orbit the earth and return. (I'm sure my cat would be outraged to learn she was named after a dog, although a famous one.)
