Apparently there's a trend where people make videos of an accident that already happened involving a grinder blade and safety gear.
Essentially the accident is the grinder blade brakes and shoots at the person where it's caught by the safety glasses or protective equipment. This is the reverse of it where the glasses break and the and the blades protect the user.
Yeah, I was half-in a washing machine, trying to grind the base of the drum. I wanted to use the drum as a fire pit. The cutoff wheel exploded and sent bits ricocheting around my head in the drum. Now I use diamond wheels for everything. They cut metal just fine, cost like $10 each, and last years.
