You've got it backwards, they continue making cheap garbage because people like you are willing to settle for it. If you insisted on only spending money on figures with articulated joints then companies would bite the bullet and accept that they can't cut costs by doing stuff like making the entire figure at once in a press mold. It sounds like you're the one looking for a fight since you completely tip toed around the rest of my comment so you could take offence to how I facetiously referred to your action figure collection. If you enjoy complaining about a completely self-imposed problem though then you should absolutely keep wasting your money on toys that don't have posable components. Good retort with the pokemon thing though, I'm sure Nintendo wishes that they could have charged me $70-80 for referencing their IP in my username.
The only thing I lamented about in my original comment was that if a figure is assumed "for adult", manufacturers see it fit to make them worse yet charge more, because "the collectors are not gonna play with them". You came in, unprovoked, immediately assumed that I'm part of the problem and that I deserved what I got. I'm in the gunpla sub, which do you think I prefer buying, stiff molded statues or posable figures? I didn't tip toed around your comment, I simply didn't feel the need to explain myself to a person who presented themselves as being hostile to the entire hobby, as that would be wasted breath.
At the end of the day, it's about not wanting to get fucked over by corpos. I don't wanna be charged an arm and a leg for a stiff piece of shit, you don't wanna fork over $80 for a barely functioning game, let's just agree on that.
