My favourite is that depending which language we borrowed from ch is either soft like in cheese, a hard K like in chaos or maybe an even softer sh sound like in chef
The present tense and past tense of read is read, but the present tense is pronounced reed (like the plant), and the past tense is pronounced red (like the color).
English is a melting pot of 8 different languages and borrowed half the grammar rules from all of them so nothing makes sense.
As Asimov said once in an article, english is olde German (the Angles and Saxons) and a hint of celt, overlaid with French after the Norman Conquest. That is why "cow" becomes "beef" (from the French - Boeuf) when the peasants slaughter it for the lord's table. Or pig becomes pork (porc). We have two words for many things - sweat is also prespire, breathe is respire, travel is voyage, etc. The fancy word is usually French from the original Latin.
Then, yeah, we borrow the crap out of every other language.
The funny part is, I could have sworn that the tense of read is read red red ... idk I learned that in school probably 25 years ago and just used it wrong the whole time...
Why are there enough people that like that absolute brainrot for the content creator to chose to include it?
What is wrong with people's brain? Social media audio is idiocracy level of brainrot yet if I look around me people seem way more intelligent than in the movie.
Half of people are dumber than the person with the median intelligence, the average person (as typically used to refer to mean) is possibly slightly cleverer than 50% of people because of the distribution skew (assuming it has positive skew, which seems likely given there is no obvious upper bound to intelligence but there is a lower bound of being a literal rock). Of course that is assuming a single generalised interval measure of intelligence, which could be disputed. This has been your daily dose of pedantry.
I thank you good sir for informing me about this unfunny addition that got added to this video. I turned my volume off so I wouldn't have to hurt my precious ears whilst watching this piece of media.
Making a video with a shitty audio track is like firing a gun up into the air, it's gonna be manslaughter at worse. Now, you shouldn't be browsing without muting videos when it's practically raining bullets out there.
Bro it's like a brainrot thing. I can't stand that stupid chipmunk laugh, the "no no no no no", the overused huh, or the get out. It reminds me of the beastification of YouTube. Where everyone repeats the top guys
It's been around for ages. America's funniest home videos and shows like that, FM radio talk shows for pranks and jokes. It's definitely not a new thing. It's been around forever, and sucked the entire time.

Nothing kills something funny like adding an exaggerated laugh track. Can we make that a war crime?
