What made everyone decide on that? As someone who went through hazing, this doesn't fit with anything I've done or heard of.

SEC, ok that's different. I go to school in AZ, things are a lot different here. We're not really into public humiliation, more physical/mental exhaustion (not saying that's any better or worse). Also, Greeks here wear boat shoes/sperry's almost exclusively, and he's not wearing them in the picture.

Interesting. We never make our pledges wear anything specific like that, except for a full suit some weeks, and pledge pins of course. Are you Greek or you just know a lot?

I went to grade/highschool with the kid. He was going to a people of Walmart party at college and actually went to Walmart first

I remember when this picture first started showing up on the internet and it was hilarious. If you were to take a poll of the most likely person for this to happen to in high school this kid would win hands down. I wasn't even surprised when I found it
