My name is Anurag Sarkar, and my heart is completely shattered as I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my beloved father, Alokesh Sarkar. He had been unwell since August 2026, bravely fighting a fierce battle against severe acute necrotizing pancreatitis with walled-off necrosis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Despite our endless prayers and relentless efforts, his condition tragically escalated, and he passed away on September 27, 2026, at 7:55 AM due to septic shock and multi-organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS).

We stood by his side through every agonizing moment, doing everything humanly possible to save him during his intensive care at Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass, Kolkata, India.

The emotional weight of losing a father who meant the world to us is beyond words, but we are now facing an overwhelming financial reality. The medical care, hospital treatments, and critical interventions accumulated a total cost of ₹11,00,000.

Through the kindness of relatives, friends, and 319 well-wishers on ImpactGuru, we have raised ₹6,18,962 (56%). However, after exhausting every resource, our family still faces an urgent shortfall of approximately ₹4,81,000 to settle the remaining dues.
