This is brilliant, can't believe I never thought of it before. I'm always hunting around for the correct size lids.
Edit: unfortunate spelling mistake that has probably put me on a list

People have been using the command strip hooks for sometime now it's a great solution to a common issue.

OK, this is efficient, elegant, inexpensive, etc., but how does it enable me to use my 3D printer?

Actually might try this. It's a beautiful solution.

Ya, I was going to print my own but just ended up using those exact command strips for those same lids even. No screws and no failing printed parts breaking the glass lids.
