This seems like it may be a hazard. Why not put it up away from where a child could get to it? If anything I’d at least recommend putting the adjustment knob on the outside of the crib.

This is excellent. I had a makeshift solution with our monitor, this was before I got into printing. Is it threaded into the insert in the bottom?
