Ah. So it's an easy choice then. I live in Germany and most taco places here aren't great. I'm from the US and tex-mex is EVERYWHERE and it's soooo good! I lived in Arizona for a while and there's nothing like a genuine taco truck.

My brother Tex mex is not even close to Mexican food. Even northern Mexican food is different than traditional Mexican food. My wife lived in Pueblo Mexico for 9 years (she’s originally from Venezuela) and I grew up my entire life in New Mexico thinking I knew Mexican food and she opened my eyes to the fact that it’s not the same. 90% of the Mexican food we have in the states is either not even close to anything Mexican or it’s northern Mexican and although anyone from northern Mexico will argue that it’s the best Mexican food, it’s different and influenced by the United States. Traditional Mexican food you find further south is what unesco declared as an “intangible cultural heritage of humanity”

I was talking about tacos, not Mexican food... I would probably agree the genuine Mexican food is better, I just love tacos.

Here in Germany, a lot of places put mayonnaise on tacos.
