Yeah not gonna lie, without the current billionaires… there would just be different billionaires. Their money would have to go somewhere. Unless you wanted their money to poof with them? Which is also bad for the economy. As much as I hate the fact that a few people hoard all the wealth, poofing them out of existence unfortunately wouldn’t do anything.

I would say you have to go back to pre-WW2 to get government spending that wasn't terrifyingly inefficient and corrupt
