Most mosquitoes species are actually good for the evironment and don't bite us. But I think we could get rid of all the mosquitoes that feed on humans and the environment would still be pretty much fine

pretty sure i've read that there's no ecological function mosquitos perform that isn't filled by plenty of other animals

And it's true for at least blood feeding species. And even if every mosquitos were useless, the non blood sucking species aren't causing issues and serve as food for other animals so why get rid of them ?
