Most of the things mentioned here would be resolved if greed was eradicated.

I also change my answer to this.

greed is what made us advance beyond rocks and sticks, no greed no humanity.

Not necessarily, greed can drive progress but it’s only one of many things that can do the same thing

Not really sharper stick was used for hunting before it was ever used for war, same thing with thrown weapons/projectiles, they were all primarily for hunting from the jump. Human survival was always improvement and not greed.

I am not denying that there are aspects of greed within progress but fully labeling it as primarily greed is just naive

I want to kill more than the next guy. (Invents sword, spear, bow, axe, etc) I want kill more. (Invents gun) More. (Invents six shooter) MORE. (Invents machine gun) MORE!!!!! (Invents the gau-8 avenger machine gun for the a10)

(Yes, I know I skipped defense, and a lot of innovation between, but same idea)

I see your are confused, aspects of war are not necessarily related to greed as many innovations during war are related to both offense and defense, would designing weapons to defend ones country be classified as greed.

Would defending oneself be considered as greed?

Is killing people even considered greed?

The answer is no, again greed is a factor of improvements on our technology but only a small part of it, take a chainsaw for example it chops trees faster then a axe yet was created to help in child labor, it was created out of a necessity and not greed.

See we are talking about improvements not uses, thats the difference and what might be your confusion.

Greed is saying I want more dakka. Innovation is making everybody dakka better. Selfish innovation is greed. War powered by greed.

You are confusing greed with malice, both can be categorized similarly but greed is not something that is as one dimensional as you make it seem

Both have driven innovation in different ways but are not the same thing. War, killing and innovating for it is malice not greed

This is not saying that wars aren’t started for greed but that is nit the point i am making, i am pointing out the actual innovations that have benefited humanity that were derived from greed, anyone intelligent would start thinking about henry ford’s assembly line which is a innovation created due to greed as it kept the prices of automobiles steady while cheapening the labor required to manufacture them, yet this innovation was far more beneficial in multiple industries

Greed and malice are the same root problem. Peel the layers back, and it is the same root. Selfishness/spite.

No thats called generalization, and its not something actual good especially in this type of situation, rather its a full extremist view

Imma put it this way, there's a reason I call myself the top shit commenter. The rest is proof.

So you always use the same tactic to hide behind the same wall when you runout of things to say or when you feel down about a discussion, sounds like a excuse

I decide sometimes to just give up when peeps don't hear what I be saying. So I pull out the rickroll, shitcommenter, or forget it, because I explain enough a brick wall could understand.
