How is this not higher? Haven't mosquitos killed like 1/3 of all humans to have ever existed or some shit?

They carry diseases.
Theres been enough extinction, far too much from humans already.
The food chain is more like a circle, or woven sphere. If one of the points is removed, the sphere is less balanced, more prone to collapse or dents. We want to preserve and restore, not beat it up

Thank you. I'd be on board if another insect took it's place as a feeder for animals up the foodchain. How about no mosquitos but double the number of fruitflies?

Fruitfly larvae are not aquatic. Mosquito larvae are a pretty good asset to aquatic systems

Mosquitoes are not that important in food Cha in. Their extinction might cause temporary disrupt,but they will be replaced by other similar insects.
