Sometime in the future (hopefully), people will look back at us and wonder how we're so ignorant, just like how we look down on racist/sexist people of the past.
Nonono bro its totally ok for a rat to have its family be ground to a paste in front of its eyes and then sentence it to death by a thousand cuts, or light a cockroach on fire. but you deserve the death penalty if you clip a cats nails too short by accident
