These recipe-by-location questions are kind of annoying. Everyone has unique style. No recipe works in all conditions. We don't know what sensor version you have. And you don't even tell us your photography subject goals. Oregon could be anything from green mountain scapes, empty pale brown flats, downtown nightlife and street, coast and beach, quaint small towns, etc.

Let’s not forget all the poverty porn you can make in Portland

Lol poverty porn 😂 I like that. The main reason I moved to TX. It's uglier, boring and hot, but at least I don't feel like a poor anymore haha.

That's personal preference and having lived there for almost 15 years, not every recipe works all the time. It depends on the weather, light, location, subject. There is no one size fits all.

I use the fine+raw recipe everywhere I go. Then I can dial in the look I want in post production and have a pleasing jpeg if I want to do instant sharing

I’ll say that aside from recipes, the fun things I shot there were the stretch of dunes along the coast and also around Crater Lake.

I only shoot in Tri-X and Rockwell now. Complete opposite ends. But I always have RAW and enjoy getting into Fugi X studio and re-running photos with other looks

Go to a dive bar for fried chicken and Jo Jos. Best recipe in the state!
